Meet Darlene Parra
Founder & Charcuterie Stylist
Never in a million years did I imagine starting my own catering business. My passion for creating grazing tables and charcuterie boards began as a love letter to friends and family. As a proud mother, grandmother, and Mexican-American woman born and raised in the East Bay, community and good food have always played a role in my life, but I didn't have experience in a restaurant or years in the hospitality industry. It was a second chance at life that led me here.
After months of recovery following a challenging health event, life took on a much deeper meaning. I realized how healing it was to gather around the table with the people I love. Preparing flavorful meals for my family every Sunday became a cherished and joyful tradition in my home.
As my appreciation for these moments grew, so did my intentionality and creativity. Naturally, this carried over to my fondness for wine and cheese. I began to experiment with pairings and presentation as another form of care.
The more I created, the more fun I had refining my skills. Friends began requesting my charcuterie boards and grazing tables for their special occasions, giving me experience in gatherings of all sizes, from small intimate get-togethers, to elaborate weddings. In 2025, when those closest to me suggested I share my passion with others, I took the leap and D’Vine Graze was born.
My last name “Parra” is the Spanish word for grapevine. This translation was perfect for naming my business because not only does it represent me and the connection charcuterie has to grapevines and wine, but it also symbolizes the wonderful connections and joyful memories I hope to encourage wrapped around a beautifully prepared table.
Thank you for being here. I can't wait to help you celebrate the special gatherings and people in your life with warmth, intention, and fresh flavors. ¡Salud!
